Thunderbolt (Single Thunderbolt Port), Seagate Model STAE121
This is the recommended Thunderbolt model at this time, but this does not allow a second Thunderbolt device to be connected in series.

USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Seagate Model STAE104
This is a reasonable solution for those with a USB 3.0 port on their computer and no Thunderbolt port available.
 
USB 2.0, USB 3.0 with ExpressCard 34 to USB 3.0 adapter, Seagate Model STAE101
This is a good choice for a MacBook Pro with a ExpressCard 34 Slot and without a Thunderbolt adapter.
 
Firewire 800 Seagate, Model STAE102
This is a good choice for those with a MacBook without an ExpressCard 34 slot or a Thunderbolt port. The performance will be much slower however, since it is limited to Firewire 800 speeds.

Calvary USB 2.0 / 3.0 Adapter, Model CAUSM2001
Included with transfer station for USB 2.0 and 3.0 connectivity. USB 3.0 is recommended for high-speed operation. USB 2.0 can be used for firmware updates.
