Overview
ALEXA Classic is one of the most popular cameras in cinema and episodic television. Harness cinematic ARRIRAW images with the Odyssey7Q and 7Q+, our ARRIRAW Certified recorders. The ARRIRAW recording option (as included in the RAW Bundle or for Daily Rent) will record .ARI files, deBayer the RAW data and convert it to a 1920x1080 video signal for viewing on the Odyssey OLED panel, output over SDI and HDMI, and playback recorded ARRIRAW files. The Odyssey LUT Routing allows switching between an ARRI LOG-C and REC709 image, or LUT of your choice.
Record ARRIRAW from the following ARRI ALEXA camera models: ALEXA (original model, aka ALEXA Classic), ALEXA Plus, ALEXA 4:3, ALEXA Plus 4:3, ALEXA M, and ALEXA Studio.
Supported Recording Formats
ALEXA cameras can output ARRIRAW in 2880x2160 (4:3 mode) or 2880x1620 (16:9 mode) up to 60p. At this time, Odyssey does not support 4:3. ARRIRAW is recorded by the Odyssey in the native 12-bit .ARI files and are readable in any post program capable of reading ARRIRAW.

3D-LUT Support
Contributing to the power and versatility of the Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+ is the ability to display and route 3D-LUTs, measured on the Image Analysis Tools and output over HDMI and/or multiple SDI outputs. The Odyssey comes pre-loaded with numerous preset LUTs and additional LUTs are available for download on this website. Custom 3D-LUT files can be created and imported.

Purchase and rental options now include all available RAW record options.Upon completion of the purchase you will receive an activation key which you enter into the unit in order to activate RAW Record functionality.
NOTE: Purchase or rental keys are specific to the unit by serial number and cannot be transferred from unit to unit.
