What does Apollo record?

Apollo can record up to four HD video signals simultaneously. At the same time, it can also capture a fifth recording of either a Quad-Split view of the four inputs or a Live-Switch between the four inputs. Recording resolutions/frame rates are:

1080p/psf 23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50*, 59.94*, 60*

1080i 50, 59.94

720p 50, 59.94, 60

*At 1080p/psf 50, 59.94 and 60, Apollo can record the four inputs but cannot also record the Quad-Split or Live-Switch.

 

Apollo can also record up to two 4K/UHD video signals simultaneously. Recording resolutions/frame rates are:

DCI 4K (4096x2160) 23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50*, 59.94*, 60*

UHD (3840x2160) 23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50*, 59.94*, 60*

*At 4K/UHD 50, 59.94, and 60, Apollo can only record a single video channel.

 

Recordings are in Apple ProRes in 422(HQ), 422, or 422(LT) codecs. All simultaneous recordings must match in resolution, frame rate and codec.
